Nestled on a quiet road in Warren’s historic Alpine Village, Kismet Properties offers a stay that feels rooted in the landscape around it—welcoming, natural, and distinctly Vermont. We’re just a short walk to Blueberry Lake and located right off the scenic Route 100 corridor in the heart of the Mad River Valley.

Our small collection of properties includes a handcrafted 3-bedroom log cabin—built with locally harvested logs and full of character—as well as a bright, 1-bedroom apartment above the garage. The cabin can also be rented as two private units, giving guests flexibility without sacrificing charm.

Year-round, this area invites you to explore: ski at Sugarbush or Mad River Glen, bike the local trail networks, paddle at the lake, or wander into town for art, food, and community events. And with Stowe and Killington under an hour away, your adventure options are wide open.

We believe the details matter. They’re what help you settle in, slow down, and feel at home. You’ll see that care woven throughout your stay—live plants and local artwork, shelves with local guidebooks and games, and kitchens stocked not just with utensils but with the basics to get you going: olive oil, butter, coffee, spices, and your choice of drip or French press.

Firewood and starters are ready when you want to gather around the outdoor pit. Beach towels, paddle boards, floates, and life jackets are available for lake days.

And outside, the grounds reflect the rhythm of the seasons—veggie and herb gardens in summer, a woodland nook for quiet moments, native plantings, and a freshly sown wildflower meadow slowly coming into its own.
