Vermont’s best-kept secret…
SUMMER!
Waitsfield Farmer’s Market
A scenic 15 minute drive into town.
Saturday mornings at the Waitsfield Farmer’s Market are not to be missed —live music, local produce, artisan gifts, and everything from dumplings to donuts.
Grab a fresh coffee from the Three Mountain Cafe, soak in the morning sun as you explore the market, choose a scrumptious snack while catching a listen to the band, then head on across the street to Canteen Creemy for their signature fried chicken (or the Caesar salad, a personal fav!) and check out their one of a kind creemee flavors. Who knew a basil mint ice cream could be so good!

Blueberry Lake and Trails
Just a few minutes walk from your stay at Kismet Properties.
The Lake
Calm, clean, and tucked away—Blueberry Lake is ideal for kayaking, swimming, or stand-up paddleboarding. Spot some geese, swim to the islands, and soak in the sweet mountain air.
The Trails
Maintained by the Vermont Mountain Bike Association (VMBA), these scenic trails wind through forest and meadow with wide-open lake views and a few sneaky climbs. Whether you bike, hike, or run, it’s a great place to stretch your legs and break a sweat—just a quick walk from your stay at Kismet Properties.
Lawson’s Finest
Just down the road from the Farmer’s Market.
Come for the beer, stay for the bites. Lawson’s taproom pairs their legendary brews—like Sip of Sunshine and Hazy Rays—with a menu full of locally inspired comfort food. Think juicy burgers, soft pretzels, and elevated pub favorites served in a relaxed, welcoming space. Grab a shaded seat on the patio, order a flight, and settle in—this is how you do an easy summer evening in the Valley.

Warren Falls
A quick 10 minute drive.
Natural rock slides, deep swimming holes, and icy-clear water make Warren Falls one of the Valley’s most iconic summer stops. It’s a favorite for cliff jumping (if that’s your thing), but just as rewarding to explore at ground level. Bring water shoes, pack light, and get ready to scramble, wade, and swim your way through the falls. From Kismet Properties, it’s an easy drive—or a scenic ride if you’re coming by bike.
