House Rules
We LOVE our spaces and hope you do too! Whether you’re staying at the Alpine Suite or the Kismet Cabin, we ask that you treat the property with love and respect. To help create a safe, comfortable experience for all guests—and keep things peaceful for our neighbors—please follow these house rules:
- Quiet hours: 10pm – 9am
- No smoking or open flames (including candles) inside
- No parties or unapproved events
- No pets inside or outside
- No recreational equipment inside (Need a spot for bikes or gear? —just ask when booking.)
Kick back, relax, and enjoy your stay.
If anything comes up during your visit, don’t hesitate to reach out. Text or call Daisy at 802-793-5793—we’re here to help!

Critters Indoors
We take great care to keep the inside of our rentals clean and critter-free. We seal up gaps, stay on top of maintenance, and bring in pest control when needed. Still, this is a cabin in the woods, and during certain seasons, mice, squirrels, chipmunks, and spiders may try to make themselves at home too. If a surprise visit from a small woodland guest would ruin your stay, this might not be the best fit.
Neighborhood Visitors
Don’t be surprised if you spot a few regulars roaming around during your stay—they’re part of the charm!
- The Woodchuck: You might catch our resident woodchuck waddling through the upper and lower gardens, on the lookout for leafy snacks. He minds his own business and keeps things low-key.
- Twin neighborhood black cats often stop by each morning and evening to check on things—friendly, independent, and very much part of the scene.
- Lil Uzi “Num Num’s” has silky fur and green eyes.
- Dweezil has a round face, yellow eyes, and rougher fur.
Wildlife Outside
You’re likely to see (or hear) all kinds of beautiful Vermont wildlife during your stay—deer, owls, foxes, and the occasional bear passing through. Please keep trash secure, don’t leave food outside, and be mindful when hiking or walking near the woods, especially at dawn and dusk. We love sharing this wild, peaceful landscape with our guests—and that means respecting the animals who live here too.
